College Campuses To Hold Mini-Summit For General Public
Resource: Yap State News Brief (2012/11/5)
COLONIA, Yap (COM-FSM News) — The College of Micronesia-FSM Yap and FSM FMI is happy to inform and invite the general public to a mini-summit to be held on November 15th, 2012 at Yap Campus. The mini-summit will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 3:15 PM.
The purpose of this mini-summit is to share the feedback and information gathered at the college’s Visioning Summit held at the National Campus in Pohnpei last August during which discussions focused on Vision for the college (strategic goals, Educational Master Plan, Assessment of the College’s Communication Plan) and Mission statement. It is crucial that feedback and input are solicited from stakeholders in each State to provide the basis for the development of the college’s new strategic plan, including priorities for the college system-wide as well as priorities and important issues specific to Yap Campus and FSM FMI.
Invitations have been extended to the Yap State Administration, the legislature, the judiciary, the two traditional councils, and other government and non-government entities on the island.
We also encourage and welcome the general public’s active participation and look forward to meaningful discussions during the mini-summit. Thank you very much for your continued support and assistance to the college, and most especially to Yap and FSM FMI Campuses.
